I hope everyone had a great holiday season!

I seem to have a new resolution each day so far. I'm trying not to make any that I won't keep, and all the ones I have made are things which I've been trying to do this term. Naturally, they all aim at self-improvement!

1. Be tidier and cleaner. Do my washing up directly after I eat, keep my room tidy, don't leave clothes and books and papers strewn all over the place.
2. Eat more healthily. Not diet- I just want to get rid of the junk food from my diet as I never feel good after eating it. I eat pretty healthily already (especially compared to lots of university students), so it's just the crisps and sweets habit to kick!
3. Be more organised. I'm on my way, at least all my essays last term were handed in! I want to get all my essays in on time, well prepared and not rushed the night before.

I have more, but these are the three that really need to be sorted, and hopefully they will all lead to one another. Maybe by next year I'll be the tidy, healthy, organised person nobody would have ever expected me to be? Probably not. But at least I won't be handing in my essays days late, stuffing my face with sweets and will be able to find things in my room!

42- the answer to life, the universe and everything! I joined because it was a place to get comment and critique about my poetry and looked like a friendly community.

Fandoms are a bit lame.

108, more than I thought I had, considering I'm not very active any more.

I try to comment, but sometimes it's easier just to +fav.

I used to, but as I said, I'm not very active any more.

Bah, everything. I enjoy drawing but I'll never be as good as my dad.

Summer! Winter in the Midlands is just TOO BLOODY COLD.

Electro/synthpop and indie probably.

I don't really eat fast food, so I guess it must be the Fish n Chip shop at the top of my road for their late-night chips!

'Kafka on the Shore' by Haruki Murukami is my ultimate favourite book. I guess after that, 'Neverwhere' by Neil Gaiman and 'Number9dream' by David Mitchell.

22. Wii or Playstation?
PS2! I do like the Wii though, but if I had one I would only play Guitar Hero. And this just reminded me that although I brought home my PS2 for the holidays, I forgot all the games- IDIOT.

These are my favourite three at the moment: The New Pornographers, Goldfrapp and The Postal Service.

Medium, I guess. Apparently I type really fast for someone who only uses two fingers though.

Mount Fuji in Birmingham (Giles hates this restaurant, but I like the tofu there), Wagamama (cheap and tasty and convenient), Peking Garden in Hornchurch (so tolerant of large groups, vegetarian friendly and fantastic service), and Prezzo in Leamington (empty and has candles and a good date restaurant).

Cats.

Take photos/ explore.

As a challenge to myself and to improve my photography, and inspired by projects such as ~SakeofProgress and =yellowpumpkin, I've set myself the task of taking a photo every day, and if possible, uploading them on the same day. Starting on the 4th of August, along with ~568ml, hopefully I'll be able to continue this for an entire year! My account will be ~42for365 if you'd like to give me comments, critiques, or some support in this endeavour (or just beat me up if I fail miserably).

Tomorrow (Tuesday) I'm off to spend the best part of the week with my love in Nottingham. I can't wait, even if it does mean meeting his parents and not being able to run away if I make a bad impression. I can just see myself tripping over his front step and shouting "oh, you cunt of a step" or something and offending them from the first moment they see me.

I keep meaning to start using deviantart again, but it's hard to get back on track with things after being away for so long, not to mention that I barely keep up with most of the friends whom I've made from this site. I need to start writing again, for one thing, although I'm getting more into photography. I don't know. Things are weird at the moment.

I think that just describes everything- things are weird. I hate the fact that things have changed, but I've changed as well, and although it's good in some ways, I miss how things were. I've spent this last week moping around and getting depressed about things, which wasn't a constructive way to spend my time. I've had a few arguments with friends, but those are largely sorted now. I don't even have anything real to get upset about, but I do it anyway. I guess that's the story of my life.
